My first shepherd was a beautiful long coat called Tara (Prescotia Nixie) which I bought from Ron and Irene Jones owners of the Prescotia affix as a pet in 1984.

Tara was from Champion Cito Vom Konningbruch and Champion Bedwins Fantiasia.
When Tara was about 12 months old I thought that I would like to show her,
little did I know at the time that long coats can not be shown.
Ron Jones on hearing this advised me to breed my own show dog from Tara, and
suggested that I used Mec Vom Haus-Beck (Litter brother to VA Mark) . This
mating resulted in Prescotia Quella born in 1988 who I then showed with great
success and excitement.
This started the BUG. Over the years I have learned much about the German
Shepherd breed and the highs and lows of the show world.
I bred under friends affixes because I did not have the confidence to get
my own. I was told that Q and X would be lucky for me and whilst on holiday
in Spain I came across a brand of Barcadi called 'Don Quixote' I love Barcadi
and became "QUIXOTE".
